Phishing is where people people try to acquire sensitive information over the internet, like user names, passwords, and credit card numbers, by masquarading as a trustworthy entity.

Identity theft is one of the fastest growing consumer crimes in Canada. Identity theft occurs when someone uses your personal information without your knowledge or consent to commit a crime, such as fraud or theft.

Unlike most products, travel services usually have to be paid for before they are delivered.

Be cautious. Ask for references. Beware of "want ads" that offer lots of money for what seems to be little work.
