Making a Complaint How to File a Complaint with the Consumer Protection DivisionThe first step is to try to resolve the complaint with the business directly. If the staff recommends that you file a formal complaint, you may use the printable form below. While these are exceptions as a general rule, complaints should pertain to transactions involving individual persons as consumers and not business to business transactions.
When necessary, the information provided may be disclosed to law enforcement agencies or in connection with legal proceedings.
