Court Services is both a branch of the government and a servant of the court. As a servant of the court, Court Services Branch provides administrative services to the judiciary and carries out the orders of the court. As a branch of government, Court Services is responsible for providing and enhancing an efficient and effective forum for just and equitable dispute resolution by the courts of Saskatchewan.

		Financial Changes to Sheriff/Local Registrar Processes effective May 28, 2012 The processes for paying Sheriff and Local Registrar fees and services will be changing effective May 28, 2012, when The Enforcement of Money Judgments Act (EMJA) is scheduled to come into force. The scope of the legislation requires an electronic case management system in order to effectively implement the new law and manage the revised workflow. The new system also provides an opportunity to introduce new payment methods, simplify law firm accounting, and streamline payment processing for both Sheriff and Local Registrar financial transactions.
