Ministry Overview Designation of Justice Counsel to Accept ServicePursuant to Section 15 of The Proceedings Against the Crown Act The following solicitors are employed in the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General as designates of the Attorney General for purposes of accepting service of documents to be served on the Crown under The Proceedings Against the Crown Act. Pursuant to Rule 667 of The Queen's Bench Rules The following solicitors are employed in the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General as designates of the Attorney General for purposes of accepting service of documents to be served on the Attorney General under Part Fifty-two of The Queen's Bench Rules in matters other than proceedings to which the Criminal Code applies. Pursuant to Section 17 of The Constitutional Questions Act, 2012 On May 16, 2012, The Constitutional Questions Act, 2012 came into force. The new bilingual Act replaces the former Act and includes new service provisions for notices to be provided to the Attorney General for Saskatchewan pursuant to the Act. The following lawyers employed with the Ministry of Justice are designates of the Attorney General for the purpose of accepting service of notices pursuant to the Act. |
