Maintenance Enforcement Office
Contacting the Maintenance Enforcement Office
I can't get through the Maintenance Enforcement Office - and I've been trying for hours.
The Maintenance Enforcement Office has two operators handling calls to the inquiry line from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. These two people are very busy however it is easier to get through between 12-1 pm and after 4 pm. There are also 13 incoming lines answered 24 hours a day by InfoService, the automated voice response system. InfoService alone receives more than 12,000 calls each month - about 400 calls a day. This high volume means that you may sometimes experience difficulty reaching the Maintenance Enforcement Office.
You will usually get through to InfoService more quickly than to an operator, and InfoService can be very helpful.
InfoService can tell you about the last payment made, the current account balance and the four most recent enforcement actions (Enforcement information available to claimants only). Call(306) 787-9931 or 1-866-247-7838 (outside of Regina area).
InfoService (306) 787-9931 or 1-866-247-7838 (outside of Regina area)
InfoService is a confidential telephone service that provides information on the services offered by Saskatchewan's Maintenance Enforcement Office, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. All you need is a touch-tone telephone.
Claimants who are registered with the Office can get information about the four most recent enforcement actions taken on their account by entering their account number (up to the dash only), their Personal Identification Number (P.I.N.) and selecting Option 4 on the main menu.
Basic case information, such as the date of the last payment and account balances, are also available through InfoService.
All interested members of the public can listen to the Encyclopedia Section of InfoService to hear general information on maintenance enforcement topics. Encyclopedia option #4 provides information about how enforcement decisions are made and option #5 provides a description of common enforcement actions.
