If a tenant has not received their security deposit back after seven business days since the end of the lease, the tenant should make an inquiry of the Office of Residential Tenancies regarding any claim made by the landlord. If there is no claim, the tenant may apply for an order for the return of the security deposit and interest (Form 12 - Tenant Ex Parte Application for Return of Security Deposit and Interest). |
