A Domestic Violence Court opened in Regina in March 2008 and additional support will be provided for the existing courts in the Battlefords and Saskatoon..

The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act provide a right of access to provincial and local government records in Saskatchewan. 

These same statutes also establish rules for the protection of privacy in records held by government and local authorities.
